The Department of Business Administration was established in 2012 and currently offers a range of programs to meet the needs of both undergraduate and graduate students. These programs include a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program spanning four years (eight semesters) for undergraduate students, a two-year (four-semester) Master of Business Administration (MBA) program for non-business graduates, and a 1.5-year MBA program specifically designed for business graduates. Additionally, the department provides an MS (Management Sciences) program tailored to individuals aspiring to excel in the fields of management and business administration, both academically and professionally. Since its inception in 2012, the Department of Business Administration has been committed to continuous evolution to meet the ever-changing demands of the business landscape while adhering to guidelines set forth by relevant authorities. We take great pride in consistently enhancing our curriculum to meet the rigorous standards established by the Higher Education Commission (HEC). As part of our commitment to excellence, we have introduced course modifications that integrate new titles and subjects, effectively reflecting the dynamic requirements of the current market. Central to our approach is the creation of a comprehensive learning environment that goes beyond traditional classrooms. Through workshops, seminars, training programs, and job fairs, our department actively engages students with distinguished figures from academia and industry. These initiatives not only provide networking opportunities but also offer students firsthand exposure to the real-world challenges and intricacies of the corporate realm. With a strategic plan in place, our aim is to present stakeholders with a clear vision and well-defined objectives for the next five years. The Department of Business Administration aims at producing business graduates suitable for the emerging needs of the market to serve the business community by providing potential graduates in a knowledge-centered environment. The BBA curriculum especially devised that allow students to achieve their career objectives and to meet industry requirements in a changing local and global corporate environment. The curriculum, teaching methodologies and the educational environment at SBBU SBA lead to the inculcation of ethical values consistent with the cultural norms of the society.

The Master of Business Administration 1.5 year program at Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University, Shaheed Benazirabad with 30 credit hours is a rigorous program tailored to the needs of business graduates who want to progress in their careers with a market-focused MBA degree. The MBA 1.5 at SBBU-SBA enables students to have a comprehensive knowledge of best recognized national and international practices of management. The plan of the study covers all the complete curriculum from general management courses to specialization in diverse business fields including Marketing, Human Resource Management and Finance. ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
1) Basic Academic Qualification : Sixteen years of schooling or 4 year education i.e. BBA/MBA/MPA (124 Cr. Hrs. with minimum 2.50/4.00 CGPA or 50% marks) after HSSC/F.A./F.Sc/Grade 12 or Equivalent shall be required for admission in the MPhil/MS/Equivalent program. The students can be asked to take some deficiency courses as pre-requisite to be determined by the Graduate Admission Committee. The deficiency Cr. Hrs. will not be counted towards the minimum Cr. Hrs. requirement for the award of the MS degree.
2) Admission Test:
a) GRE/GAT/HAT General or equivalent as an eligibility condition for admission to MS/MPhil/Equivalent programs, with the passing score of 50%. OR
b) Test equivalent to GRE/GAT/HAT General developed as per HEC criteria with the passing score of 60%.
c) Penal Interview
3) Intra-disciplinary Qualifications:
The intra-disciplinary admissions may only be allowed, if: The university/HEI policy allows, and
a) The applicant has a strong interest in pursuing a MS/MPhil/Equivalent degree in a different discipline.
b) The applicant has passed GRE-Subject with minimum 70% marks in the discipline of admission and has taken 6-9 CH of deficiency courses of level 6.
c) The admissions committee is satisfied that the applicant’s knowledge of primary area (level 6) has sufficiently prepared him or her to undertake the course of studies of the MS/MPhil/Equivalent program (or, in the opinion of the admissions committee, the preparation can be deemed satisfactory by taking a few additional courses after starting the program).

DEGREE COMPLETION TIMELINE
The MS/M.Phil. (level-7) degree shall be awarded after a minimum of 1.5 Academic Years and not more than four (4) Academic Years after the enrolment of the student. The minimum duration to complete MS/M.Phil. degree program is 1.5 years (3 regular semesters) and the maximum duration to complete MS/M.Phil. degree program is 04 years (8 semesters). MS/M.Phil. students are required to comply with the following timeline:
